The BOOM Smiles family includes Dr. Bhumesh Hirapara, and Dr. Ecio Pozzi. We are committed and passionate about providing excellent dental care for all of our patients by taking the time to create a personal connection in our modern yet comfortable office space.
Dr. Bhumesh Hirapara — also known as Dr. Boom — grew up in Jersey City, NJ and got into the dental field after doing an internship in high school and noticing how multifaceted the clinical and business-related aspects of the industry can be.
While his family owned a small liquor store, Dr. Boom decided to pursue his passion for dentistry, graduating from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2019 after attending Drexel University for undergraduate school. Within just six months of graduating, Dr. Boom put his family’s business-oriented mindset to use and acquired the patient charts and staff of a closing practice before relocating the office. After constructing a new office in Hoboken during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Boom and his team started the office from scratch, triumphing against unfavorable odds and bringing in the original associates and team and boom! BOOM Smiles was born, with a new location in Cliffside Park.
When not attending to his patients at BOOM Smiles, Dr. Boom enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with his family, and trying out different restaurants throughout New York City.
Dr. Ecio Pozzi graduated from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo School of Dentistry in Argentina. He completed two years of residency through a hospital, and practiced dentistry for more than 10 years while in Argentina. Dr. Pozzi then decided to pursue his dreams further and expand his vast knowledge of dentistry at NYU Dental School. He received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degrees from NYU. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Pozzi is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of professionalism, compassion, and overall dental care.
As a General Dentist, Dr. Pozzi enjoys all areas of comprehensive dental care. This ranges from preventative treatment and simple restorations to root canals, crowns, and extractions. His focus is on Implantology and Cosmetics, and he is a Preferred Provider for Invisalign.
